Tuition Benefits for Dependents

Use this form to apply for tuition assistance for a dependent child or spouse.

Individuals eligible for undergraduate tuition benefits are the employee’s spouse as well as natural or adopted children or stepchildren under age 25 at the beginning of the academic year, regardless of marital status.  Spouses and dependents must be admitted in accordance with University of Dayton admission standards.  Employees must claim children on their tax return in order to qualify for any tuition benefits.  Individuals must apply annually. 

Eligibility is as follows:

  • Less than 2 years of continuous full-time service – 0% of tuition
  • Completion of 2 years but less than 3 years of continuous full-time service – 45% of tuition
  • Completion of 3 years but less than 4 years of continuous full-time service – 70% of tuition
  • Completion of 4 years of continuous full-time service – 95% of tuition
