Provost’s Faculty Professional Development Funding Application

Service Overview

The Office of the Provost, through Faculty Affairs, allocates annual funding to promote scholarly activity, support research dissemination, and encourage active faculty engagement in professional societies. Priority is reserved for supporting projects and activities for which funding is otherwise limited.

The award, up to $1,000, is given towards faculty professional development for conference presentations, first author publication fees, and other scholarly development activities such as performances at national events. The award must be used by the end of the academic year and reconciled by July 31.

All full time faculty, professional, non-tenure track, and tenured faculty are eligible with a limit of one award per faculty member per year.

To apply, faculty must submit a concise 1-page short proposal and any supporting documents (presentation invitation or acceptance letter, publisher’s acceptance letter, posters, event websites, etc.) via this TDX request.
