Service Overview
To support Faculty and Staff with research, scholarship and creative activities, the College of Arts and Sciences centrally manages all requests related to additional funding through the Dean’s Office. Complete this form to request funding support, including requests for student travel support. All funding must follow current university guidelines.
Funding Request Requirements
There are limited funds available for these different requests, therefore submission is not a guarantee of support.
Examples of funding request may include but are not limited to: Open access publication costs, Indexing, travel to archives, M&S, equipment, instrumentation, travel to field sites, cloud storage, software, licenses, memberships, animal costs, exhibition costs, short term studio leasing, travel to exhibition sites, and cost share of research funded grad student tuition.
Student Travel: Students may not request funding. This request must be submitted by the faculty or staff member that is sponsoring the activity.
For Faculty and Staff: Faculty and Staff requesting research, scholarship or creative activity support must provide details around the request.
