Voicemail announcements are used to give information when no other option is needed. It simply states specific information and then disconnects.

Announcements can be:

• Called directly

• Accessed from a menu

Menus

Voicemail menus are used to enhance a customer's call. Normally, a caller hears a greeting and then is given options to choose from such as:

• Another menu (from which there are another nine options)

• A campus phone number

• An express message right to a voice mailbox

• An announcement

Time-of-day controllers

Time-of-day controllers routes calls to specific voicemail services depending on what time-of-day it is. There are three specific time periods.

• Business Hours

• Closed Hours

• Holiday Hours
