Campus to campus call
The University of Dayton uses five-digit dialing. For on-campus calls, use the last 5 digits of 229- and 627- extensions. Example: 229-1000 = 91000 or 627-1000 = 71000
Calling to campus from off campus
To call a University administrative office from off campus, use the 229 prefix. To call a student residence, use the prefix 627.

Dial 66 + your access code (you will hear a dial tone) + 8 + 1 + area code + phone number. If you did not hear a dial tone after your access code, hang up and dial again.
