Creating an Agent in FlyerGPT
Start by navigating to the login page for FlyerGPT. Once logged in, you will be presented with the FlyerGPT homepage, and can begin creating your Personal Agent.
Quick-Create an Agent
- Log in to FlyerGPT. Navigate to the login page. Once logged in, you'll see the FlyerGPT homepage.
- Start creating. On the main page of your instance, look for the Create a Personal Agent option within the Agents tab (located under the logo).
- Name your agent. A small window will appear in the bottom-left corner of your screen. Fill in the Agent Name and click Let’s go to continue.
Configuring Your Agent
After naming your agent, the Quick Create window expands offering detailed configuration options:
- Edit Agent Instructions: Find the Agent Instructions section. Click to change the guidelines for how users should interact with your agent. Default instructions are available but can be customized to fit your agent’s needs.
- Add Knowledge Sources: Enhance your agent's knowledge by adding sources:
- Files: Upload relevant documents or files. Your agent will have access to information within these files.
- Websites: Enter URLs of websites that contain useful information for your agent.
- Capabilities:
- Enable Internet Search: If you want your agent to search the internet, toggle this option on. This allows the agent to use available search engines to find answers related to user queries.

- Model: Personal Agents currently use gpt-4o (Assistants API).
- Preview Your Agent: On the right side of the screen, you'll see a preview of your agent in the Chat Playground. Use this feature to test and make adjustments in real-time as you create your agent.
- Add Chat Starters: Look for the Add a chat starter button. Input default prompts or conversation starters that will help users understand how to interact with your agent effectively.
Finalizing and Managing Your Agent
Once you've finalized your options, click Create and go test out your Personal Agent!
Your newly created agent will be available in the My Agents section. You can modify it by navigating to the agent, clicking the ellipses (...) in the upper-right corner, and selecting Edit. Additionally, you can Pin the agent for quick access on your sidebar or even create a link for Sharing the agent. Your Personal Agent can also be edited directly from the left-hand navigation panel.
Sharing Your Personal Agent
You can easily share your personal agent with others. Here’s how:
- Click the three dots (...) on the right side of the agent listing.
- Choose the Sharing option.
You have two primary sharing options:
Private: The agent is only accessible by you.
Anyone with a link: Anyone who receives the unique link can access and use your agent.
