Printing in Color on a Campus Printer from a Mac

In this example, the color printing settings are accessed through Microsoft Word on a Mac.

Note:  If your print job does not require color, use the Default Settings and print in black and white.

  1. Create a blank document or open an existing document in Microsoft Word.
  2. Click on the File menu and choose Print.
  3. Click on the Printer drop down list and choose the appropriate Multi Function Device (MFD) name.
  4. Click on the Copies and Pages drop down list and choose Quality.
  5. Go to the Select Color setting and click on the drop down list.
  6. Choose Auto Color.
  7. Click on the Presets drop down list and choose Save Current Settings as Preset.
  8. Type in a Preset Name - for example Print-Color.
  9. Click on All printers and then click on OK.
  10. Click on the Cancel button to exit the Print window.
