Resolving Issues with the EduRoam Wrapper (Windows OS)

While running the EduRoam Wrapper installation file on a Windows device, you may encounter the following SmartScreen error message:


To correct this error, use the following procedures:

  1. Click Don’t Run or click the X to close the SmartScreen error message window.
     
  2. Open the Windows Downloads folder and locate the Wrapper installation file.
     
  3. Right click on the Wrapper installer file and select Properties.  The Properties windows appears.
     
  4. Select the General tab and then click the Unblock check box.


     
  5. Click OK.
     
  6. The EduRoam Wrapper will now run correctly.

    NOTE:  If you're still encountering problems with the EduRoam Wrapper, contact the IT Service Center at (937) 229-3888 or complete an IT General Help Request form.
