The University of Dayton provides a variety of software for teaching, learning, research, and university business. Depending on the application and its licensing terms, software may be available for installation on personally-owned devices, UD-owned devices, or accessible through the Academic VDI. Each software page includes information about availability and how to obtain the software.
Faculty and staff: Before installing software for University work, review the Equipment Requirements section of the University's Information Security Policy for guidance on the use of University-owned and personally-owned devices. Software installation on UD-owned devices may require administrative access.
