Getting the Software

Adobe Acrobat Pro

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  2. Click Sign in in the upper right corner and use your UD provided Adobe account information.

  3. When the Adobe Sign in window appears, type in your UD email address (e.g. rflyer1@udayton.edu) and click Continue.

  4. During sign-in, you may be asked to select an account.

Choose Company or School Account to: 

  • Access your new Adobe Acrobat Studio license.

  • Sign in with your University of Dayton credentials and complete Duo authentication.

  1. If Adobe Acrobat Reader is not installed on your UD-issued computer, install it via Software Center (Windows) or JAMF Self Service (macOS). If Adobe Acrobat Reader is already installed, it will not appear in Software Center. Do not install Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop. 
  2. Adobe Acrobat prompts you to update itself automatically in the background.  NOTE: This upgrade does not require administrative access.
  3. Launch the application and accept any prompts to allow Adobe Acrobat to perform background upgrades to the premium features.
  4. If an upgrade prompt does not appear, manually initiate the process by clicking Menu (hamburger icon), Help , then Install premium features.

  5. Alternatively, access the Adobe Acrobat Pro features via the web by logging in to http://express.adobe.com/ and selecting Acrobat.

Adobe Express

  1. Open the site: http://express.adobe.com/
  2. Log in with your UD-provided Adobe account credentials.
  3. Click Express.
