The Knowledge Base is a great resource for self-help guides, finding answers to common questions, and instructions for common tasks. Searches are conducted one of two ways - by categories or by using the search bar.
Searching by Categories
Using the Search Bar
Searching by Categories
- Click the Knowledge Base link at the top of the screen. If you are on the Service Catalog homepage, go to the Find Answers section and click the Browse Article link.
- Click on a category. For IT related articles (e.g. Campus Printing), click UDit:
- Click on a category or scroll down and click on an article title. Some categories contain one or more sub-categories and multiple articles.
Using the Search Bar
- Click inside the search bar.
- Type an item that you would like to search for. To search for items using an exact match, place double quotes around the item (e.g. "Box").
- Press <ENTER> on your keyboard or click the search icon.
To filter the search to just Knowledge Base articles, click the drop down list to the left of the search bar and choose Knowledge Base.
