Most campus learning and collaboration spaces are outfitted with presentation technology, including projection for large displays, dedicated computers and connections for personal devices, and webcams. Technical Planning Services
UDit offers the following services to prepare you for hosting an event in a technology-equipped campus space. Place your request at least two (2) business days in advance to ensure staff availability:
- Technology Orientation
Request a 15-30 minute orientation session with an IT classroom technician to learn about the technology in a learning or collaboration space.
- IT Guided Start
A support technician will visit your classroom space before your session to help the presenter get connected to the technical equipment. The technician will NOT remain to provide support throughout the class.
Live Event Support
Live event support is contracted through Markey’s, University of Dayton’s preferred event support vendor. Markey's provides many event support services, including equipment rental, on-site technical support, and live streaming / Zoom facilitation support.
