Autodesk develops software for computer-aided design (CAD), engineering, 3D modeling, architecture, and media creation. Eligible faculty and students can access a wide variety of Autodesk software products for teaching, learning, and research.

Faculty and students for educational (academic) use only.


Get Software

Eligible faculty and students can obtain Autodesk software directly from Autodesk through the Autodesk Education plan.

  1. Visit the Autodesk Education website.
  2. Sign in or create an Autodesk account.
  3. Select and download the Autodesk product you wish to install.

Educational access is generally provided for one year and may be renewed as long as eligibility requirements are met.

Faculty: Contact UDit Client Services for assistance with installing software on a UD-owned device.
