Positive COVID-19 Test Result - Employees

You are not required to report your positive test result to the University of Dayton, but you are expected to follow the instructions below, monitor your symptoms, and if you have any questions, contact your primary care physician.

Covid-19 Positive Test Result Instructions - Employees

  • The CDC updated guidance on March 1 and recommends:
    • Stay home and away from others until 24 hours after your symptoms are getting better overall and you have not had a fever without using fever-reducing medication.
    • You could remain contagious beyond the 'stay-at-home' period so CDC encourages having good hygiene practices, wearing a face covering, and keeping a distance from others.
