Configuring Your UD-Owned Mac Computer to Use Campus Printers

The directions below will allow you to send files from your UD-owned Mac computer to a campus Konica-Minolta printer. To install a campus HP printer on your UD-owned Mac, contact the IT Service Center or your unit's IT support team. 

NOTE: Before you begin, make sure your device is connected to the UD network!

  1. Navigate to your Applications folder and double-click the Self Service app icon.


    NOTE: If you don’t have Self Service installed, place an IT General Help Request so your unit’s IT support team can enroll you in JAMF.
     
  2. Locate the FindMe Printer Deployment (AirPrint Object) application and click the Install link. Follow the installation prompts.
     
  3. Close the window.
     
  4. Set your default printer:
  • Open System Settings from the Apple icon on the upper left of the Mac menu bar.
     
  • Open Printers & Scanners.
     
  • Click on the printer you will use most often. The FindMe_KM_Greyscale is the preferred default on UD-owned devices. Click the Set Default Printer button.
     
  • Close the window.
