Fiery Mac Installation (Visual Arts Only)

1. Complete and submit a Software Request.  Be sure to select Mac OS and Art and Design Fiery Printing Installer in the Software Information section of the form:
   
   
    
2. Go to the location where the applet was downloaded. If prompted, click the down arrow and select Keep.
   
   NOTE: macOS requires App Signing and Notarization. Since the applet is not notarized, it may be flagged as malicious. You will need to right-click and open it several times.
    
3. Open the AD_Fiery_Installer program from the downloaded zip folder.
   
   
    
4. When the "unidentified developer" pop-up appears, click Done.
   
   
    
5. Open the Security & Privacy settings from your system preferences. Go to the Allow apps downloaded from section. Click the Open Anyway option next to the AD_Fiery_Installer was blocked... message.
   
   
    
6. Enter the admin credentials for the primary user of the computer and click Modify Settings or Unlock. You may need to enter your credentials again.
   
   
   
   Click Open Anyway if needed.
   
   
   
   Re-enter your credentials if prompted.
   
   
    
7. After a moment, the Fiery printer will be installed.
   
   
    

NOTE:  When printing, you may be prompted with an obscure dialog box. Type out your University user name and password and click OK.
