Updating the Photos App in Windows 10

The Microsoft Photos app gathers together and can be used to view all the pictures and photos currently located on your PC.  The newest version can also be used as a free video and photo editor, but will need to be updated to the latest version to take full advantage of these features.
 

1. Click on the Start Menu and navigate to the Microsoft Store.
   
   
   Alternate method: Click on the start menu and begin typing Microsoft Store and it should come up as the best match at the top of the list.
   
    
2. Type Microsoft Photos in the Microsoft Store search bar and click the search icon (magnifying glass icon).
   
   
    
3. Click on Download and follow the instructions.
   
   
    
4. Once finished, open the Windows start menu again and navigate to Photos.
